Drive automation initiatives and system optimization for Vitality, a leading health and life insurance provider.

• Business Analysis: Liaised with and managed multiple stakeholders around Vitality's business. Extracting and documenting technical requirements, hosting and running regular stakeholder catchups. Wrote and maintained design documents for processes throughout the company using confluence as our documentation tool.
• Software Implementation: Implemented automatic reconciliation software at Vitality UK. Liased Vitality's internal technology teams in order to successfully deploy and integrate the software with Vitality's data warehouses and servers.
• Database Administration: Set up automated data pipelines and monitoring reports using SQL Server Stored Procedures and Power BI. Monitored, maintained, and improved stored procedure performance through query statistics analysis and index management.
• Business As Usual: Utilized SQL Server Management Studio daily to write and maintain SQL code to resolve and manage business issues effectively and efficiently.
• Automated Reconciliations: SQL-Driven Automated Reconciliations: Designed and implemented large-scale automated bank reconciliation processes using advanced SQL queries and stored procedures, processing over a million healthcare insurance transactions monthly with 99.8% accuracy
• System Migrations: Led financial system migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions through SQL, Power BI monitoring dashboards and Power Automate alerts
• SSRS: Built,debugged, maintained, deployed and automated hundreds of SQL Reports through SSRS. Writing engaging reports to the stakeholder's needs

• FinCrime Vetting Application: Scoped, designed, and built an ASP.NET Razor Pages web application with SSO and SQL Server as a database for the Financial Crime team to conduct financial checks during agency onboarding, streamlining the vetting process. • API Development: Developed custom API integrations to connect disparate systems, improving data flow
• MCP Server Implementation: Built a Model Context Protocol server to connect Vitality's ticketing system to LLMs, allowing AI models to query, summarise, and analyse support tickets. Enabled automated identification of recurring issues requiring permanent fixes and generated concise summaries of completed work, reducing manual triage effort and supporting data-driven prioritisation
